This is the first album of the band, recorded in London, released
on november, 16th 1992 on the Nord Sud label and distributed by Barclay
(Universal).
The album is entirely written and produced by Ewan Shiels and includes
13 songs already very characteristics of the sound and personnality
of the Sons...
The line up was then: Ewan Shiels (songwriter, vocals and mandolin),
Tracey Booth (vocals, bodhran and tambourine among others), Joseph Doherty
(violin and saxophone), Stephen Harrison (double bass) and Johnny Nolan
(guitar).
The songs borrow from traditional musics, jazz and bluegrass in order
to offer their own and unconventional vision of music!
The artist who made the painting and drawings of the record sleeve is
Tony "Doc" Shiels, Ewan's father, former famous illusionist
and author of the first official Nessy colour photograph!
