Second album released on january, 26th 1996 (still available on
Harmonia Mundi / Label Bleu), once again entirely written and produced
by Ewan Shiels.
Greedy transports us during 16 songs in the enchanted and highly charged
universe of the Sons of the Desert, from calm to frenzy, in an impressive
diversity of sounds and ambiances.
Ewan and Tracey (now Mrs Shiels !) are, of course, still here, as Stephen
Harrison and Joseph Doherty, with special guests Michael Moore (clarinet
and piano, among others), C. Delmote (guitar) and Paul Rodden (banjo).
Lyrics with tortuous puns and catchy choruses, brillant and disarming
melodies, Greedy is a mixture of influences even richer than before,
serving improbable and touching stories.
