The third and latest album of the Sons of the Desert was released
on march, 11th 2002, on the Universal Jazz France label.
Goodnight Noises Everywhere is a disc of maturity, and meetings.
The Sons line up is now Ewan and Tracy, Vincent Guérin (double
bass) and Régïs Boulard (drums). The appearance of a drummer
in the band contributes significantly to the evolution of their sound,
making this record once again an other and different definition of the
Sons of the Desert style !
Many guests appear on the disc, like Michael Moore and Paul Rodden (who
were already playing on Greedy), Régis Huby (violin), Stick Savary
(guitars), Han Bennink (drums and percussions), Bertrand Belin (electric
guitar), Michel Schick (clarinet, saxophone), Bruno Chevillon (bass),
Yvon Riou (acoustic guitar), David Hopkins, Michel Poulet or else Pol
Huellou.
The 12 songs of this latest Sons of the Desert opus lead their listeners
in the strange far-off lands of a new musical country...
